Product status and roadmap
Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.
Kotova uses three product names. Only one of them is something you can use today.
This page exists to make that unambiguous, because the other two appear in navigation menus, footer links and marketing copy in a way that can read as availability.
How to read status labels
Section titled “How to read status labels”Three labels are used across Kotova’s sites. They mean different things, and the difference matters.
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Live | Built, in production, usable now. |
| Planned | An intended product, in design or development. Not usable, and not testable from outside. |
| Concept | An idea under evaluation. Not committed to, and may never be built. |
Two rules go with them.
Nothing outside “Live” carries a committed date. Where a year appears next to a planned product, it is a target. It depends on development, on partners, and on any authorisations the product turns out to require. Targets move, and items are sometimes dropped.
A page existing is not availability. Kotova Pay and Kotova Deal have placeholder pages and footer links in the app. Those pages render an “under construction” notice and nothing else.
The same applies to descriptions. Where you see fees, limits or settlement times quoted for a planned product, those describe an intended design, not shipped behaviour, and they can change before launch.
Kotova X — live
Section titled “Kotova X — live”Kotova X is the live product, and it is the subject of the rest of this documentation. Unless a page says otherwise, everything here describes Kotova X.
What is available today:
- Non-custodial swaps between crypto assets, with each order routed to one of nine independent liquidity sources.
- Hundreds of assets across dozens of networks. Coverage changes as sources add and withdraw support, so the catalogue is not fixed.
- Fixed and variable rates, a visible provider for every quote, the ability to exclude providers you would rather not use, and DEX-only mode.
- Order tracking without an account or registration.
What is not part of Kotova X today:
- A public API for integrators. There is no published specification and no API credentials to issue. If and when that changes, it will be documented here.
- Any fiat leg. Kotova X covers crypto-to-crypto swaps only. Where the interface shows a value in euros or dollars, that is a display conversion, not a fiat transfer.
Kotova Pay — planned
Section titled “Kotova Pay — planned”Kotova Pay is intended to let you settle everyday SEPA invoices in the EU using crypto. It is built for EU payment rails and would be delivered together with payment partners, which is a large part of why it carries no committed date.
The target is 2027. It is not usable today: there is no way to submit an invoice, no onboarding, and no live payment flow behind the placeholder page.
Kotova Deal — planned
Section titled “Kotova Deal — planned”Kotova Deal is intended as non-custodial escrow for trades between two parties: funds locked in a 2-of-3 multi-signature arrangement and released when both sides confirm the agreed terms, with Kotova never holding them.
The target is 2027. It is not usable today. There is no way to open a deal, and no escrow exists to deposit into. Descriptions of dispute handling and deal limits elsewhere describe the intended design.
Concepts under evaluation
Section titled “Concepts under evaluation”Beyond those three, Kotova’s investor material lists further ideas: a crypto-linked card and everyday payment tools, an over-the-counter desk for larger trades, a mobile non-custodial wallet, an education platform, and an asset-research layer inside the app.
These are concepts in the sense defined above — under evaluation, subject to feasibility, demand, partnerships and any authorisations they would require. They are not announcements, none has a date, and some will not be built. They are listed here only so that encountering them elsewhere does not imply they exist.
When a roadmap item becomes usable, it gets its own section in this documentation. Until then, its absence here is deliberate.
